You might elect to pre-order a Discovery Park Pass to avoid potential wait times at the gates to Banff National Park. Also, if you have a pass, you will not need to stop at the gates at all, but will be able to drive through.

To pre-order your Discovery Park Pass visit http://www.commandesparcs-parksorders.ca/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/en/parksb2c.

Be sure to allow enough time to receive your Discovery Park Pass in the mail, should you choose to pre-order it.

The Discovery Park Pass fees depend on the following categories.

A Discovery Park Pass is mandatory within the Banff National Park boundaries. The town of Banff is located within the Banff National Park and vehicles not displaying a Discovery Park Pass will result in a fine.
